Welcome to 2012! Already things have started off with a bang, we had a bit of shaking and rolling this afternoon. An earthquake M7.0 hit near some islands south of Tokyo. Makes me wonder how things will pan out for the rest of this year.... My plan for this year is to completely finish studying by June. Yay! Although it does mean leaving my family here and then spending 2 months back in Australia to complete my training, which I'm really not looking forward to doing. Well I have finally finished my course for this semester and now plan to take a break from studying for at least 7 months. :dance: Since I started the 365 day project, I've fallen more and more behind :( Which has resulted in my sketches being nothing more than really quick rough 3 - 5 minute pieces. Nothing of which I am proud. But rather than start the challenge all over again I've uploaded them anyway and will keep going. Now that I'm finished studying, I plan to spend some more time drawing at night, rather than during my lunch break. On another note, today was my birthday :) so I decided to upgrade and buy myself a Wacom Intuos 4!! :dan

I've decided to try the 365 day project, which is a challenge where you draw or sketch something everyday. I'd heard of something similar in the past where you take a photo of yourself everyday and then link them together to create a montage. Right now, I'm not too sure if I can keep going for an entire year, but I'm going to try. :D My main goals for this challenge are to improve my basic sketching ability as well as my sense of human proportions. So here I go, trying to balance life, work, study and drawing! :dance:
